GBBA AGM 2022

GBBA held their Annual General Meeting at Gloucester Academy of Music.

A good turn-out with a few succumbing to Covid last minute, gained 3 new committee members and more considering joining.

After the conclusion of the main parts of the meeting, discussions covered the GBBA Own Choice Contest, the Area/Finals, Covid Rules and Brass Roots Funding.

As has become the norm after an AGM a Forum followed, this year entitled 'Youth Bands - the next Generation'. With numbers falling in

general, thought and enthusiasm was given to bringing youngsters together every half term to provide a full band experience, including the social side.
