Brass Bands England works with a wide range of partners in strategic, tactical and informal ways to help share the fun, challenges and rewards of being involved with a brass band.

We promote and share the brass band story and encourage the support of bands across the country. We are a voice for our bands and our players and we shout about the life-enhancing benefits of this vital part of our culture. We’re as passionate about brass bands as you are. Together we can make more noise and more music!

Gloucestershire Music

Gloucestershire Music, in association with the GBBA, offer the opportunity for young brass and percussion players to perform at the highest level of youth music making.

Day events are held throughout the year featuring guest soloists, conductors and championship bands providing young players with the chance to get up close with professional musicians.

Young brass and percussion players can also gain experience at playing in wind bands, orchestras and jazz bands via our county youth music programmes. Full details are on the website: www.gloucestershiremusic.co.uk.

The Head of Instrumental and Vocal Tuition for Gloucestershire Music said, "Our mission is quite simple: to work with the very best conductors and soloists and perform at the highest level of youth music making. In short we aim to inspire. Opportunities are organised by Gloucestershire Music and the Gloucestershire Brass Band Association who strive to support and develop young musicians to their full potential".
